Happy Halloween

It is almost Halloween in 2022. This year may prove to be scarier than any previous Halloween due to increase in fentanyl coming across our border and into our country. Please go through your kids candy and remove any open items or possible candy you do not recognize at all. It could be fentanyl and small amounts of it can kill. Better to play it safe than not at all.

However, please have fun out there and enjoy the change in the seasons. That is what Halloween is all about. Its not about the devil or ghouls and goblins playing tricks or creatures of the night from hell. Halloween originated as a holiday to mark the changing of seasons to fall weather for farmers and harvesters. If you think Halloween is the one day of the year dedicated to the devil, you are sorely wrong. Enjoy the fall weather out there. I know in Texas we already had our first cold front in the southern part here.

Eat lots of candy and be safe. There are always awesome costumes out there and its fun to see which costumes or the biggest hits.
